Aced Board Exams, operator of acedboardexams.com, is the data controller for personal data described here. Contact us at support@acedboardexams.com.

Personal data we collect

• Account data — email address, name (if provided), password credentials held by our authentication provider.
• Purchase data — order references, product purchased, purchase and expiry dates, billing country and payment status (card details are never seen or stored by us).
• Study data — answers, quiz and readiness attempts, scores, study plans, AI tutor questions and responses.
• Technical data — IP address, device and browser type, timestamps, and error/performance logs.
• Communications — emails you send us and delivery status of emails we send you.

Why we use it

To create and secure your account, deliver purchased content and 120-day access, personalize study plans and AI tutoring, send transactional and access-expiry emails, provide support, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal and tax obligations. Our legal bases are performance of contract, legitimate interests (security and service improvement), consent (where required), and legal obligation.

Who we share data with

• Stripe — our payment processor and, where end-to-end compliance handling applies, Merchant of Record; handles checkout, billing, tax and refunds.
• Supabase — database, authentication and hosting infrastructure.
• AI model providers — process tutor and lesson prompts to generate explanations.
• Email delivery provider — sends account and reminder emails.

We do not sell personal data or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

International transfers

Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries, using appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses where required.

Retention

Account and study data is kept while your account is open and for up to 24 months after your last activity. Transaction records are kept as long as required by tax and accounting law (typically 7 years).

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection, and may withdraw consent or lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Email support@acedboardexams.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Cookies and security

We use strictly necessary cookies and local storage for login sessions and app preferences. Data is transmitted over HTTPS and protected with row-level access controls.

Children

The service is intended for users aged 18 and over; we do not knowingly collect data from children.
